to register your copy of the graphics with us. Registration protects you as well as us. By having a list of users of our graphics we
can legally pursue anyone who is using our graphics without a license. If you are going to use our graphics on items that you sell please

What can BelverBears graphics be used for?
Basically, you can use our graphics for any use that is NOT in our " Under this license you ARE NOT permitted to use BelverBears graphics for "
category". In more detail BelverBears graphics are made to help people who own small businesses (mostly home based) who need quality images
to use in the creation of hand finished merchandise to sell. Our intent is to help people reach their business goals.
BelverBears graphics CAN NOT be used on items that will be mass produced (unless prior permission is given,
which will include a separate licensing fee). It's not meant to be put on items that are sold in retail stores. If
you do want to mass produce an item, licensing fees are available (per image desired). Our definition of "mass
production" means making items that have not been previously ordered or items that you intend on selling to people/businesses to hold as
"stock" in a store or other location.
Our license is intended for YOU the home business user to use in YOUR business, for orders that have been placed
or for products you intend on selling to the public (as opposed to selling them retail establishments). For instance, you
should not, under our license, make 100 t-shirts to sell to Walmart or a business downtown, but you COULD make 100 shirts that have
been ordered from you by the "public" (not a retail establishment)
or make 100 shirts for YOURSELF to sell at a flea market or other sales outlet that you participate in. Please do not represent yourself as
an employee or contractor of BelverBears. Please do not use the name "BelverBears" in any way as a representative of your business, company
or other entity. BelverBears is a trademarked name owned by Belver Ladson.
To simplify it…if you handcraft a product using our graphics (pursuant to this license) and sell it directly to
the public you are ok.

Can people who wrap candy make 100's or 1000's of candy wrappers and not violate this license
agreement? Yes, we understand the people who make candy wrappers might get orders for hundreds (or even thousands) of wrapped
candy (or the candy wrappers alone). The mass production limitation does not apply to people who wrap candy as long as they are using
the images for wrappers that have been ordered (as opposed to just printing up 1000 wrappers to try to sell them to a chain store or bridal
shop).

Can paper piecings (for scrapbooking) be made from the files and not violate this license
agreement?
Yes, paper piecings can be made from the files on our CDs. You may sell your finished product, but you man NOT sell the files or patterns
from the CD. You may not claim that you are the creator of the characters/graphics on our CD and we ask that you give some credit in your
advertising that the characters/graphics you are using are "BelverBears" graphics.

Can BelverBears Distributors use files at their websites to download ?
No, BelverBears distributors can not sell, re-sell, offer or give our wrapper (and other) files to anyone. They can NOT be used at a
website if they are to be downloaded by a customer or anyone else. Our files may be used on a website to show a customer what you are
offering. We would appreciate it if the word "Sample" or some other word was put over the graphic when it is shown to
customers. This not only protects our files,
but protects you.

Can I use BelverBears graphics and templates and offer them to people on my website for download? Use of our graphics for
templates or offers to others as a download is forbidden. You can NOT offer BelverBears graphics, wrappers, templates, etc... in ANY way
digitally (through files, on a CD, via download, etc...). You can NOT use our graphics for any online club or group where people would be
downloading files or you would be offering our files to them in any way.. You can NOT offer our graphics for download digitally on items
you make IF those items are offered digitally. For instance, if you make a bookmark with one of our graphics you can sell that bookmark
(already made) to a customer, but you can NOT offer the bookmark file as a download to anyone because it contains our graphics. This guards
against people trying to get around our licensing agreement.

Under this license you ARE NOT permitted to use BelverBears graphics for:
1. Plates, mass produced items , sculptures, molds, statues, figurines, digitized images which you sell, give away, barter away
or offer for download or in ANY digital form, embroidery images which you sell (but you can use the images on handmade clothing that you sell),

Can I use BelverBears graphics in newsletters and articles? You can use our graphics for
newsletters and articles. We ask that you notify us of your intent to use our graphics for such purposes and we also ask that you include
credit to BelverBears for the graphics and reference to http://www.belverbears.us

What can I do with the BelverBears files that are on the CD? The only thing you can do with the BelverBears files that are on your CD is
use them for you OWN use. You can not share the files, sell the files, give the files as a gift, or give them away (in any
form) to anyone else. You can back up the files on your computer in case your compute crashes and you need to re-install your
computer operating system. You can also make copies of the CD for you OWN personal use. Copying the CD for ANY
other purpose is a violation of this agreement.

What would happen if I violate this agreement?
Some people get a little upset when they're told that if they violate a copyright they will be sued. After all, it's just a drawing,
right? Wrong. My copyright with the United States government makes it MANDATORY that I send a warning to anyone who
violates this agreement. Once that warning is ignored I have no other option than to sue the person/business involved. If I don't I
will lose my personal copyright to my artwork. So when you see someone get a "cease and desist" message or hear about someone being sued
for violating a copyright it's not just some "evil big business" suing "the little guy". It's someone doing something they are legally bound to
do to protect their own rights.

OUR MAIN GOAL One more thing…..I want my artwork to be used to help people in small businesses
who can't find good looking pictures to use. It's common knowledge that most "royalty free" graphics don't look very good and the
quality is far from what is wanted. I don't want to draw things in an inferior way just so I can call it "royalty free". I draw
to the best of my abilities and use my CD license to make sure the artwork is
protected for you and for me.
If you have any questions about this or need further clarification please send me an e-mail…I'd be glad to discuss it with you.
I've tried to make this license as encompassing and inclusive as I can, but as I said in the beginning, if you see anything you think could be
improved or you think something should be added please let us know. We're here to help! You can always contact us at
belver@belverbears.us
