Heart Valentine Candy Bouquet
Submitted by Heather Douglas
I made this for my son to take to his grade 1 class for valentines day. The kids all get a heart shaped sucker and the mini chocolate bars are for his teachers. On the center flower I left the two side hearts blank for personalization.
I didn't put water marks on anything so you could see the completed works.
Supplies needed
- 1 Folgers coffee can (or coffee can of your choice)
- 1 Styrofoam disc to fit inside of can - I bought a 7 3/8 x 1 3/16 inch disc and just pressed the can into the Styrofoam to get the proper size
- 1 Styrofoam flower arranger 315/16 x 1-15/16 inch disc for adding height to center of bouquet
- white floral tape
- floral wire - get gauge that will fit inside your sucker stick. The suckers I used plastic straw type sticks
- tissue paper with valentine type design optional
- double sided tape
- assortment of curling ribbon for filler - optional
- suckers and mini Hershey valentine bars

Instructions
Print out project pieces and assemble as follows. I used a different picture on each side of the can but you could use two of whichever one you prefer.
Cut out cover and tape to can. Cover the Styrofoam discs with tissue paper and attach smaller circle to larger circle with double stick tape.
Cut various sizes of wire for your holders to give added height as you go. Wrap suckers in holders, wrap mini Hershey's in wrappers.
I used floral wire on the minis only. Stick into foam, add ribbon or whatever else you would like to use for embellishments – place finished product into top of can.
